Edith Ann Doggett

Funeral Service for Edith Ann Doggett, 93 is set for 2:00 pm Friday at Memorial Funeral Home with Terry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Henry Cemetery. Family and Friends Gathering will be Friday from 1:00 pm to Service time.

Edith Ann died January 3, 2024 at Dogwood Assisted Living. She was born April 27, 1930 in Corinth, MS. to the late John Joseph (Joe) and Ola Hugh Mullins Doggett. She was a member of Foote Street Church of Christ. She was retired telephone operator; she loved to go out eating with friends, traveling and collecting.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Joseph, Jr.

She is survived by her family of caregivers, Ann Dixon Walker (Dale) and Beth Barber Jones (Andy); nephews, John Joseph Doggett, III (Betty); niece, Susan Doggett Willis (Tom); cousin, Joy Nelms; special friends, Mary Singleton Fowler, Patsy Jobe; her church family; and her Dogwood assisted Living family.
