Cleda Loraine Spencer

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Loraine Parson Spencer, 77, will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at Center Hill Cemetery in Michie, TN.

Mrs. Spencer departed her earthly life for eternity with the Lord and Savior on April 10, 2025 at North Alabama Medical Center. She was born in Hardin County, TN on February 26, 1948 to the late Herbert and Vernine Parson.

She was united in holy matrimony on October 24, 1968 to Dennis Ladrun Spencer of Kossuth, son of the late Hosea and Virginia Spencer. Together they made a beautiful life of almost 57 years.

She was of the Christian faith and displayed God's amazing love and grace to all she knew. Her favorite verse was John 3:16 and Psalm 46:10. She retired from Hardin County School system in 2011 where she worked as a teacher's assistant. She touched many children's minds whom she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Kathryn; and brother-in-laws, Frank Hill, Pat Chessor and Scotty Spencer.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Spencer; son, Jason Spencer (Andrea); grandchildren, Lily Grace Spencer, Jaden Cash Spencer, Abraham Constantine Spencer, Amelia Kathryn Spencer and Beau Everett Spencer; brother, Leslie Parson; sisters, Carolyn Allred (James), Dora Jane Hill and Kay Chessor; 4 nieces, 2-great-nephews, 2 great-great nieces, ex daughter-in-law, Rachel Rueff (Jeff); brother-in-law, Trent Spencer (Cindy), Diana Spencer and family; and a host of extended family and friends.
