Bobby Sellers

A Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors for Bobby Nelson Sellers, 87, is set for 2:00 pm Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home, Bro. Donny Davis will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Johns Cemetery.

Family and Friends Gathering will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 and Thursday from 12:00 to service time.

Bobby died March 9, 2025 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born July 8, 1937, in Alcorn Co. to the late Hershel Sellers and Myrtle Hamlin Sellers. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and graduated from Biggersville High School in 1956. Bobby was an US Army Veteran. He started his career early in the printing business and retired from World Color. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, horses, and spending time with his family and church family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Houston Sellers; and sisters, Betty Barnett and Martha Sue McNair.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Linda Hastings Sellers; his daughters, Jennifer Morris (Brad) and Lori Moore (Ben); brother, Joe Sellers; grandchildren, Jared Moore (Mallorie), Lydia Moody (TJ) and Bradyn Morris; special granddaughter, Molly Grace Spencer; brother-in-law, James Ray Hastings; sister-in-law, Margie Tidwell (Ronnie); and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
