Betty W. King, 77, of Corinth, died Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Magnolia Regional Health Center after a short illness. She was surrounded by her family. She is a former employee of Dairyland Freeze and retired from ITT Telecommunicatons after 20 years of service. She was also co-owner and operator of Corinth Flea market for ten years and co-owner of Ray King Building Maintenance for 35 years. She was a member of Northside Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors Chapel with Minister Lennis Nowell and Minister Malcom George officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was w devoted wife and mother who is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ray King of Corinth; two daughters and a son in law, Sherry Clark of Corinth and Denby Stutz (Jim) of Byhalia, Ms.; she leaves three grandchildren, Amy Clark Burks (Tony), Amanda Clark Redding (Tracy Bullard), and Matthew McArthur; she also leaves four great grandchildren, Victoria Nash, Callie Nash, Anna Redding, and Anthony Redding; and one great great grandson, Wesley Nash.
Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Pinevale Children’s Home.
