Benny Wilbanks

Benny passed away on September 9, 2015 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born November 23, 1952 to the late Bynum Lee Jr. and Maxine Wallace Wilbanks. Benny was the co-owner of the Whistling Dixie Café and had recently retired from Caterpillar. Benny was a member of Holly Baptist Church and a 1971 graduate of Alcorn Central High School. He loved hunting, fishing, loved being with his family and his co-workers at the café.

Benny was preceded by his parents in death.

He is survived by his wife; Wanda Wilbanks, son; Brandon Heath Wilbanks, daughters; Michelle (Mike) Jackson, Heather (John) Stanford, brothers; Ricky (Gloria) Wilbanks and Jim Wilbanks. He also has two grandchildren; John Riley and Kyle Stanford and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.

Visitation will be tonight from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home.
