Annie Lou Carmon Thompson

Funeral service for Annie Lou Thompson 90, are set for 11:00 A.M. Friday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Harmon and Rev. Warren Jones officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.

Ms. Thompson died August 31, 2011 at MS Care Center, she was born May 8, 1921, was a retired garment seamstress, member of Central Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, spending time with her family especially her great grandchildren. She always put herself last to make sure everyone else’s needs were met. Her love for her family was unconditional.

Preceded in death by her husband’s Douglas Mitchell and James Thompson. Parents Henry and Mattie Ross Carmon. Several brother and sisters

Survived by her Sons Gerald Mitchell his wife Martha, Harold Mitchell, Daughter Doris Doles all of Corinth, MS. Sister Inez Hughey of Southaven, MS. Grandchildren Anthony (Vickie) Mitchell, Elaine Dildy, Stacy (Scotty) Michael, Kristy Martin. Great Grandchildren Hunter and Kelsea Michael, Kayla and Cody Dildy, Cheyenne Martin, Brandon and Kaitlyn Mitchell.
