John Martin Stack

Stack, John Martin, 63, of Ft. Lauderdale, passed away after a long, courageous battle with cancer with his loving family at his side. John was born June 19, 1953 in Jersey City, NJ to the late John and Honora (Fitzpatrick) Stack. He made his career with FP & L as an Area Manager. He enjoyed fishing and loved to go whenever he had a spare moment. John was predeceased by his sister, Noreen Presnell. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Carmen whom he married on February 15, 1991 and they enjoyed 25 years of wedded bliss, sons, John Stack, Alexander (Suzy) Rivera, Kelvyn Rivera, grandchildren, Alexandra Rivera, Gary Stack, Adrian Aquila, brothers, Joe (Kerri) Foligno, Jim (Kim) Foligno, Pat Foligno, sisters, Nicole (Joe) Roma, Sandra (Bob) Kay, brother-in-law, Tom Presnell, several nieces, nephews and friends who were so important to him. His friends were so dear to him and he loved them as much as they loved him. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, August 21, 2016, 1:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery South, 2401 SW 64th Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33317. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in John's memory to the Charity of your choice.
