Joan Marie Fanelli, 85, of Tamarac and Coral Springs, FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 20, 2020. She was born on September 9, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY to Louis and Frances Valenti.
Joan loved her family dearly, as they were the main focus of her life. Joan imparted on her family the importance of togetherness, laughter, and caring for others. She also loved animals, traveling, and chocolate.
She is survived by her children: Debra Zalman, Karen Danzig, Gregg Fanelli, Brian Fanelli,
Scott Fanelli and their spouses, 15 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren along with many other family members.
Viewing will be Friday, October 23, 2020 from 4pm to 7pm at Kraeer Funeral Home, Margate, FL. A prayer service will be given by Father Kelly of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church at 4:30pm.
