Jane and Earl Harbert

Earl (Pete) Wayne Harbert loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on April 2, 2020 at the age of 94 at Coral Springs Medical Center. Earl was born on August 14, 1925 in McKeesport, PA. He dedicated his life to his family, service in War World II and then worked as a design engineer for the airplane and boating industries until his retirement. He was our Mr. Fix-it; he could fix, repair or build anything.

Jane Louise (Rylander) Harbert loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on November 24, 2020 at the age of 87 peacefully at her home. Jane was born on February 12, 1933, in Irwin, PA. She dedicated her life to her family, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved to play games, craft and party with her family. She was always Lady Jane to her Earl.

Earl and Jane were united in marriage for 50 golden years, since 1969 when they ran away and married in Virginia. They lovingly blended their families and shared their love with 8 children, 21 grandchildren, and then became GiGi and PapPap to 30 great-grandchildren.

Earl and Jane blended 8 children, two from Earl’s first marriage and 6 from Jane’s first marriage to form their loud, boisterous and busy home. Their home was always open to family and friends and if they had a motto it would have been the more the merrier. Their favorite pastime was their back porch in Coral Springs overlooking the pool and canal with family and friends.

Preceding them in death was their son Joseph Carl Walk (2019), Jane’s First husband Joseph Edward Walk (1967) her brothers – George Rylander (2012), Ralph Rylander (1986), Robert Rylander (1931) nephew William Confer (1986) and her parents Linus Rylander (1954) and Jennie Coles (1933). Earl’s first wife Mary Jane (Cassidy) (2005), Brothers- Richard Harbert (1993), Leonard Harbert (2002), Sister - Shirley Slusser and his parents Richard Harbert (1967) and Susanna Ernestine Swiger (2000).

The many generations left with just the memories of the love they shared are:

Jane’s sister Thelma McKinley and Earl’s sister Delores Polchak. Their Brother-in-law Larry Walk his wife Joyce and many, many special nieces and nephews.

Son Wayne Lee Harbert (Barbara Carolyn) - Grandson Duaine Lee, great-grandchild Kenady Leigh - Grandson Eric Alexander (Angela Marr), great-grandchildren Mason Ryan, Aiden Max and Emma Carson - Grandson Daniel Michael (Aubrey E.), great-grandchildren Alexis Ariana, Brentley Deacon, Bradlee Rae, and Jackson Wayne.

Son Joseph Carl Walk (deceased) (Linda) - Grandson Joseph Edward (Kristen), great-grandchildren Alexa Rae and Joseph Patrick - Grandson Craig Walk (Nina), great-grandchildren Liam Arthur and Wyatt Stuart.

Son Charles Allen Harbert (Susan Elizabeth) – Grandson Robert Charles - Granddaughter Debra Sue Robbins (Keith), great-granddaughter Miranda Sue.

Son Alan James Walk (Julie Lynn) – Grandsons Carl Alan and Christian James - Granddaughter Heather Ann Gatton (Thomas Andrew), great-grandchildren Parker Thomas and Lily Ann - Granddaughter Kelly Ann Koppelman (Neal Owen), great-grandchildren Ava Lynn and Logan James - Granddaughter Tracey Lynn Cabrera (Justin Andrew), great-grandchild Justin Andrew.

Daughter Jane Marie Walk - Granddaughter Diana Rose Harrison (David Joseph), great-grandchildren Mackenzie Rose and Jake David - Grandson Warren Daniel Darlow (Jennifer Lynn), great-grandchild Carter Ryan - Granddaughter Amber Leigh Ramdatt (Dhanesh), great-grandchildren Melissa Leigh, Brianna Nalini, and Jasmine Belle.

Daughter Terri Ann Lawrence (Jackie Dewayne) - Granddaughter Christine Renee Rowland (Justin Lee), great-grandson Hayden Oneal - Grandson Brian David.

Son Douglas Patrick Walk (Betty Marie) - Granddaughter Dixie Lynn Solano (Nelson Humberto), great-grandsons Jesse William (Mendenheim), Sebastian Douglas and Alexander Walter, and great-granddaughter Isabella Marie.

Son Harry Joseph Walk (Mary) - Granddaughter Lauren Ashley Soletti (Michael), great-grandson Connor Michael - Grandsons Andrew William Earl and Michael Arthur Linus.

Services the final party…..

Funeral services will be held at Kraeer Funeral Home in Coral Springs Florida on December 12, 2020. Viewing is from 4 pm-6:30 pm with a prayer service at 6:30 pm.

Internment will be Monday, December 14, 2020 at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth FL. The lineup will commence at 12:30 pm in lane 3 followed by the Memorial flag ceremony promptly at 1:00 pm.
