James Allen Webb

James (Jim)is survived by his loving wife Betty Lou of 29 years. He is survived by his son, James A Webb, Jr. (Shea Webb), his daughter, Annette Sheely, step son George Simmons (Cheryl Simmons), step daughter Deanna Whoriskey (Jon Whoriskey), step son Chris Simmons and brothers Robert Webb (Susan Webb), and Donald Webb (Maria Webb), sister in law Joyce Hoelzer (Robert Hoelzer). His grandchildren include Richard Sheely, Michael Sheely, Bria Webb, Jessica Luckman, Christopher Simmons, Haley Simmons, Shawn Whoriskey and Rebecca Whoriskey. His nieces Christine Sobotka (Ben) and Keri Bellamy (Stephen). He is preceded in death by his parents William and Audrey Webb.

Jim was born on July 5, 1945. Jim was a social, active man who was deeply involved in the Gulfstream Sailing Club for many years. He enjoyed sailing, traveling, and spending time with his family. His family and friends will always remember him for his smile, humor and contagious laugh. He was an avid sports enthusiast and would turn never turn down an offer to cheer on the Marlins and Dolphins. He was quite the competitor with card games with Betty Lou, and his long time friend’s Tony and Chong Dela Cruz. He had a great admiration and love for dogs.

A service is scheduled for Saturday, December 2nd at 2:00 pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jim’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Humane Society of Broward County.

Jim will find his eternal resting place at the serene Boca Raton Mausoleum, located at 451 SW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33432.
