James S. Rocco

Rocco, James S., 62, of Coral Springs, went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2019. James was born April 16, 1957 to the late Peter and Elena Rocco in El Salvador, but moved to Guatemala when he was a child. He attended LSU and attained a degree in hospitality and also computer technical support. He loved to eat Italian food and play electronic games. Baci, his trusted fur friend, would wake him daily and he enjoyed the time they had to play together. James had a love of sports, especially the NFL and NBA, with his favorite teams being the Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers. His favorite players were Magic Johnson and Alonzo Mourning for their generous hearts and gentile ways. James was predeceased by his son, Christian, sister Gisela Rocco and brother, Anthony Rocco. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 39 years, Ana, sisters, Monica Rocco, Jackie Rocco Torres (Carlos Fernando), brother, Peter Rocco (Claudia Diaz Duran), sister-in-law, Miriam Lucia Cordon de Rocco, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 12, 2019, 5:00 - 8:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs where a Prayer Service will begin at 5:15pm with Msgr. George Puthusseril officiating. A Mass of Christian Rite will be celebrated on Friday, December 13, 2019, 12:00 Noon at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 9920 NW 29th Street, Coral Springs with Msgr. Souckar, Msgr. Hogan and Fr. Puerta officiating.
