Daniel Carl Hill

Dan is survived by his daughters Kristen Hill and Lauren Messing and her husband James, grand-daughters Kate and Molly Messing, siblings Michael Hill (Mindy) and Marvin Hill (Jan) of Racine, Ohio, fiancé Mindy Liberman, and former wife Kathryn Hill. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dale Wallace Hill and Mary Jane (Wolfe) and older brother Dale Hill II.

Dan was born on June 28, 1952 in Pomeroy, Ohio to Dale and Jane Hill and grew up on a farm in Letart Falls, OH. He moved to Florida after high school to attend college and founded his own tool and equipment rental store, General Rental Center, with his wife Kathryn Hill. The rental store is still in operation today after almost 40 years in business and continues to be owned and operated by his family.

Dan was the life of the party and a friend to all. He created many lifelong friendships in the Coral Springs community and will be truly missed.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home in Coral Springs. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Dan’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Coral Springs Community Chest at https://coralspringscommunitychest.org/.
