My precious. Can’t believe it’s has already been 3 years since you became an angel in heaven. I think about you everyday & about the wonderful life we shared . You were a very special woman who shared caring & love with everyone especially your family. Those were the best days of my life. I love you deeply & miss you terribly.

Missing you like it was yesterday and not three years ago, mama.  I think about you everyday and mentioning you is in my daily vernacular (a Carol Ann word!).  I ask your advice even though I know you can’t answer me, but you can hear me.  
Remember we used to joke about what characteristics I got from you?  We decided our love of the written word, music, style, love of animals and the water.  I find myself channeling you and leaning in to other traits of yours and that’s kindness towards others no matter what’s going on, it’s patience and not always have the first or right answers and being okay with that.  It’s all the soft edges you have.  I hope you’re finally proud of me mom.  I love you. 

Carol was a true friend. She brought so much joy into my life with her kindness, her southern sense of humor, and most of all her her loyalty. We had such good times on the tennis court as doubles partners,going down to Key Biscayne to watch matches,  New York for the U.S. Open, and numerous lunches at Runyon's.  Carol loved her family, and I always looked forward to hearing about what she was cooking up for the next birthday or holiday celebration. She loved to entertain and was the definition of " the hostess with the mostest!" I will miss you, Carol, and I know you are at peace.

❤️ Ever since I was 14 years old she has been there for me. First, as as a confidant/friend, and then eventually as a second mom. We bonded pretty early on in our relationship with pizza/horror movie sleepovers when dad was out of town. I remember singing Christmas carols by the organ and lunch dates at Friday’s for girl-talk. She took me shopping for make up for the first time and helped me pick out my prom dress. These are memories that I will cherish forever and there are so many more. I couldn’t have picked a more nurturing second mom, a more devoted wife for my dad, or a more loving Nonny for my kids. She exceeded my expectations in every way and then some. Always making sure birthdays and holidays were extra special for all of us. Although I feel so blessed to have had her in my life, and I know she is no longer suffering, my heart is still heavy with her absence. She will be greatly missed, and live on in out hearts forever. She is busy now playing the organ in heaven and leading all the angels in song. There’s no doubt our angel, Carol Ann, is the sweetest of them all. Rest in peace, I love you. 💔

Mom,  your quiet strength and resilience did not go unnoticed, though rarely praised.  You never sought, you just were there.  Taking care of your family with grace through it all.  And that is why we had three and half more years with you.  We made our peace and we hope you knew how much you were loved and always will be.   I love you Mom and miss you, but I’ll carry you with me every day. 

*1996- my 21st birthday.  Mom loved celebrating our milestones.  She was so excited to buy me my first legal adult beverage.  Xo 

You were an amazing stepmom. I learned so much from you, and it was mostly by the always admirable example you set in every situation. You weren't consciously trying to teach me. You were just living your life The beautiful way that you did, and I couldn't help but pay attention. Early on I could tell Dad saw the universe in your eyes. Therefore I knew you had to be an extraordinary lady, and you sure were. In you there was so much to love and admire. Some of my favorite things are your love and devotion to family, the way you poured your heart and soul into making the holidays so special for us, the way you could in so few words set a family conversation straight with your wisdom and integrity, and the strength and Grace you showed while undertaking and WINNING the fight of your life. For these awesome reasons, and so many more, your spirit will remain at the forefront of my consciousness as I embark on the rest of my life. Thanks Mom. I love you.❤

Carol, my dear, sweet sister.  You were a wonderful person in every regard and you filled successfully and with grace, many roles.  We rejoice that you are with loved ones who’ve gone before and you are healed and happy again.  You have seen the face of God and we rejoice in that.  You’ll be forever missed in all our lives.

My Precious,  You left us way too soon. You had 
Some health issues the last few years but not once did you ever complain. Whenever any of us how you feeling you always said “ I am fine”.
You were a very loving & caring wife, mother &
grandmother. You always made our family get
togethers & holidays very special. I miss you & love you so very much & one I will join you  so
we can continue our wonderful journey together. You gave me so much.  I love you ❤️


Gone too soon.  God picked a beautiful flower for His garden. 
Many memories with an older sister.  Our family of 5 had wonderful vacations together for many years.  Times around the piano with Carol playing and singing joined by Mom Janet and I.  Girl trips for several years.
Carol was very well loved and will be greatly missed. Love to you Steve,  Meg and Rob.

My mother was the kindest person I have ever known.  She had a rough last 3+ years, but never complained.  Anyone who ever met her was a better person for it.  Where she is has become a better place now.

Kevin and I are heartbroken. Carol put up the best fight against this  horrible disease we know as Cancer . Steve you were her knight in shining armor for 36 + years.  Standing By her side every step helping her and giving her strength and her giving you strength to power forward in both your quests to beat this.  You both are in our prayers. We are with you.
