Antonio Martinez is survived by his parents, Oscar and Silvia Martinez of Coral Springs, FL; siblings, Oscar, Jr., Giovanni and Silvio. He is preceded in death by his Great Grandparents, Raffaele and Mariuccia Curra; Alfredo Garisto and Maria Antonia Pagnotta, Calabria, Italy; Tia Nery Martinez, and cousin Pfc. Oscar Amilcar Martinez.
Antonio Martinez was born on June 12, 1998 in Margate, FL to Oscar and Silvia Martinez. He graduated from Thomas College, in Waterville, ME in 2020 with a degree in Criminal Justice. . Antonio was planning on starting his Master Degree program in Criminal Justice in the fall of 2020 at Thomas College.
Antonio was a player on the Thomas College Baseball Team as a catcher and pitcher. . He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to all. His smile was contagious and lit up the room. He was a giving, generous, loving and caring young man who loved life and who was passionate about his family, sports, and his future. He was actively pursuing his dream of working in the Criminal Justice field, where he wanted to make a difference in the world by helping others. He was an active and dedicated member of the Kappa Delta Phi National Fraternity.
Antonio has left his mark on the world through his zest for life, caring spirit and his dedication and love for all.
A funeral is scheduled for June 30, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Father Edward M. Kelly will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to Visit the Livestream and celebrate Antonio’s life.
