Brutus, Anne Marie C., 85, of Coral Springs, went to be with the Lord, June 17, 2016. Anne Marie was born November 11, 1930 in Gonaives, Haiti to the late Marceau and Alice (Sterling) Brutus. She worked for many years as an aide in home health care. She enjoyed all sports, especially tennis, soccer and golf and she loved to do crossword puzzles. Anne Marie was predeceased by her daughter, Gilberte Brutus in 1997. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving daughter, Marie Alice Brutus, grandson Alex Fabien, sisters, Antonine Berthaud, Sylvie Auguste and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 24, 2016, 6:00 - 9:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs where a Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016, 10:00am. The family suggests donations be made in Anne Marie's memory to the Poverello Center, Inc., 2056 North Dixie Highway, Wilton Manors, FL 33305, www.poverello.org, 954-561-3663 to help families coping with AIDS Disease.
