We are very saddened to learn of Alfredo's passing.  His big smile and thoughtful manner made him a person to be with.  His willingness to take on civic activities and his approach to decision making made him an ideal person to bounce ideas off of.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I worked with Alfredo at ATT Alfredo always wore a Great Big Ole Smile no matter how rough or big the storm was. I pray for his family during the time of sadness. Big Al was such a great person. He had such a kind disposition that made you instantly want to be friends with him. A very considerate, polite and extremely easy going person that would help anyone out at any time. I met him at Gold Coast Gym in North Lauderdale in the mid 1980s where we trained for many years. We would all tease each other but Al always took the teasing with a big smile on his face. He was a true gentle soul...a unique person. I am deeply saddened by his passing and send my heartfelt condolences to all the friends and family closest to him. Rest in Peace my friend.

Alfredo, you will be very missed my friend.  Grateful for the opportunity to have worked with and gotten to know such a genuinely great guy.  I'll always look fondly on our Jets/Pats banter!  Deepest condolences to his family.

I had the pleasure of seeing Alfredo every afternoon when he would pick up Augustin from school. He would always come in with a smile on his face and he was always so excited to see Augustin. I am very glad that I had the pleasure of meeting Alfredo and his amazing family. I wrote this poem when my grandmother grew her angel wings and I hope it gives Alfredo's family and friends a peaceful reminder that he will always be around. 

I see the light. For some reason I am not afraid. My time here is done. I am becoming immortal. I see my family. But they do not see me. My soul is lifted. My body lays still. I watch from above. My hands grab theirs. But they are not aware. Hearts filled with sorrow. Not knowing what lies tomorrow. Eyes filled with tears. I watch over them. I answer their prayers. I see what they feel. I feel what they see. I will protect you. Like a flower over it's leaves. For I am my family. I am their protection. I have found my eternal home. My love is their security. Their heart is my purity. My heart is the light. I am free.

Heaven is receiving a wonderful gentle giant today. Just a little sooner than we would like. We have fond memories of Al and will continue to love and watch over Marcela and Augustine.
