ZINK, ALFRED L., 96, of Coral Springs, FL, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. He was born in Buffalo, NY, January 20, 1915. He was an investigator for the Pennsylvania Railroad and then honorably served in the United States Navy during WWll. After that time he continued on with the federal government in the Office of Civilian Manpower Management until he retired. He was a long standing officer with the Coast Guard Auxiliary for the Pompano Beach Flotilla. He is predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Margaret Zink, and his daughter, Cheryl Ricks. He is survived by his loving companion, Evelyn Gatz, son-in-law, Stephen Ricks, granddaughters, Kellie and Lauren Ricks, and great granddaughter, Jenna Ricks. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 2 P.M.
