Remembering my Tio Tom, how I  miss you and love you. I miss our phone conversation and how we talked about my dad your (brother) and my mom and your family. You were a dear and wonderful uncle and good to people who got to know you.  
 Can't believe it's going to be 2 years  since you left to be with our lord.  Love you Tio continue to Rest In Peace and please give my parents a hug from me.  Always in my thoughts and in my heart.

Just found out last week about his passing. After over ten years ago for about three hours I finally got to  see and meet with him and his happy and very kind family. Who this man that that I always wondered about since I was born never having no memory of him who this man was. I was very impressed with the generosity him and his family  welcome me with. After researching online for contact info is when I saw this. It made me sad that I would never see this man that all my life dream to see him. Never had any strong feelings about him till now. I  am glad that I got to meet with him for three hours of my entire life just who this man really was. Now I am very sad that I'll never see him again. This man was all so my Father. I am Tom Salinas Jr. his first son.

Whenever Uncle Tom and Aunt Stella showed up  at Grandma Chavela’s house, we knew we were going to laugh .   Uncle Tom was always playing with the kids like my dad and was telling jokes.  Aunt Stella had a way of making you feel special when she talked to you.   It was always a memorable time.
A couple of times when we went to see Richard play football, we made a day out of it.  I always thought it was our vacation even though we came back the same night.  
I remembered the time when Uncle Tom and Aunt Stella turned their house into a “hotel” the night Norma graduated from high school.  There was so many people who spent the night.  They made sure everyone was comfortable and pretty much stayed up all night for playing games and many laughs.  The next morning Aunt Stella was in the kitchen making breakfast for everyone .
Later on when my dad died, Uncle Tom and Aunt Stella will come to visit us in San Antonio with Little Richard.  They talked about Richard and Norma and their grandkids, again always making us feel special.  Uncle Tom will walk around the house and Aunt Stella will stay in the front room talking to my mom.
Whenever you think about Uncle Tom and Aunt Stella, you can see and feel the love they have  for each other and the pride they have for their family.

I remember our Families growing together. There are years of memories that can never be replaced.   We all grew together with Richardson Tile, I loved the way Tom spoke to my Dad never afraid normally laughing but caring.  I'm gonna miss his humor.  Norma & Richard words can or will never express the loss of our parents but they are definitely together watching over us all.  My brother told me when mom passed "you'll never get over it you'll just learn to live it".  Im still trying! I'm really gonna miss you Tom & Stella.

When Dad(brother Tony)and tia Rita(sister) when to visit tio Tom 2016. Last time dad saw his brother before he passed on 2017.

My Uncle Tom always reminded me of my daddy Joe...... his brother they looked so much alike!! I also enjoyed those special moments talking to him on the phone......... he was quite a
Jokester, I will never forget the one about the nurse and the plunger!!!!! Norma,......... I know goodbyes hurt, but always remember the most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched they must only be felt with heart 

My Popo was an amazing man. He tought me so much throughout my life and was always a constant figure in it, its going to be hard to imagine the rest of it without him. He loved his family with all he had and it always showed. Always with a wisecrack, always making a joke, always tinkering....I love you so much, Popo, and I'll carry you in my heart and cherish our memories until my last breath. The hurt is somewhat overcome because I can still hear your laugh...

TomTom worked with my grandpa , then my uncle and my dad , and when my time came he helped me as well!!! He made it through 3 generations of tile setters!!!  I learned allot from that man!!! My grandpa (Lucian Lyssy Sr) never bragged about anyone but TomTom was one he always talked greatly about!!! I’ll always remember you and them quarts of corona after hard days 

Tio Tom will be greatly missed. He was like my dad Tony, a joker. He loved to make us laugh. He was a caring and loving person. He loved his family and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He always talked about his family and his military days. I enjoyed talking to him on the phone. His voice would some times sound like my dad's voice. He is now in heaven with his wife, brothers, his two sisters Liz, and Lupe and his mother. I will always cherish his memories and he will always have a special place in my heart.

Popo you are the greatest grandfather I could of ever asked for. I will miss you terribly. My heart is broken now that you & granny are gone. Thank you for your love and kindness. I will hold close all the memories I have of you. I’m so happy you had the time you did with Elayna & Gavin. I will miss your jokes and all candy you would always give us. The kids loved playing in it he back yard and so did I growing up as a kid! Things will not be the same without you. I’m glad we had Burger King for Gavin’s birthday. And I know Elayna is going to love the big Barbie you got her for Christmas. I only wish you were here to see her open it. I love you Popo and I wish I could of said goodbye.
