Visitation and a Rosary will be 6:00-8:00 PM (7:00 Rosary), Sunday, September 24, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00, Monday, 25 September with the FR. Chris Downey as officiant at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. Celebration of Life Reception to follow at the Holy Family Catholic Church Social Hall.
James Frost was born in Indianapolis, IN to John and Sylvia Frost on 9 October 1993. He went to School in Temple, TX. He was active in church as a member of the Columbian squires. In school he was on the football team and the drama club, where he was involved in a performance of ‘The Crucible’. He was currently serving as a Senior Airman in the U. S. Air Force.
As a young man with passion, a love of music, and an intense sense of empathy, James was subject to depression which he battled for several years. He lost his battle to depression just a month before his 24th birthday.
James is survived by his parents, brothers and sisters: Juliana Huckabay and Brad Huckabay (spouse), Kathleen Powers, Mary Elizabeth Francis and Jordan Francis (Spouse), Nathanael Powers, and Monica Powers. Grandmother: Dorothea Motte and Carol Frost. Uncles and Aunts: Mike Frost, Nick and Tracy Bender (spouse), Glenna and John Devers (spouse.) Cousins: Matthew Devers, Gabriel Bender, Matthew Bender, Drew Bender, Sam Bender.
James is preceded in death by grandparents: Glendo Frost, Deanna McGarvey, and Andre Motte.
Pallbearers will be: Steven Jaramillo, Timothy Fajardo, Shane Hansen, Nathanael Powers, Tommy Hoppers and Kacey Knight.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
