As a child her family moved to California where she attended and graduated from Hollywood Professional School. While there she starred in Mary Poppins, recorded a light opera song, and learned to play the steel guitar. She later moved to Virginia then retired in Killeen, Texas. Throughout her life she held many secretarial jobs and in later years enjoyed being a food demonstrator. Her passions were music and dance. This led to learning Hula dancing and several years of square dancing.
She is survived by her brother Sidney Hughes, daughter Anne Nielson, and sons' Wayne Redburn and Douglas Redburn, two grandsons, and three granddaughters. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Redburn, two sisters and her parents.
A special thank you to her caregiver and friend, Jackie Miller. She was a tremendous help to our family during this difficult time.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.crawfordbowerscopperascove.com for the Redburn family.
