Mary Veronica Muzik Wessels

Funeral services for Mary Veronica Wessels, 91 of Copperas Cove are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 518 E. Hwy 190, Copperas Cove, TX. Rev. Bernard J. Schey will officiate. Burial will follow in the Copperas Cove City Cemetery.

Mary Veronica was born September 15, 1919 in El Campo, Texas to the late Paul and Mary Muzik. She was a homemaker and member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Wessels was preceded in death by her husband, Emil R. Wessels on January 20, 1999; her parents, sister and brothers.

Survivors include four sons, Arthur Wessels of Oskaloosa, Iowa, Gary Wessels, Larry Wessels and Kenneth Wessels, all of Copperas Cove; five daughters, Jeanette Winsett of Euless, Patricia Sparling, and her husband, Al, of Kokomo, Ind., Kathy Kuntscher and her husband, Frank of Pearland, Cindy Young and her husband, Burl, of Burnet, and Carol Berger and her husband, Jody, of Belton; 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund.

The family will host a time of visitation on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Copperas Cove, TX.
