Gene was born to Sam Morris and Barbara Jones Morris on February 16, 1937 in Hanford California.
Gene was a member of the 82nd Airborne division US Army. He loved hunting and fishing but really enjoyed his Gardening. Gene was the owner and operator of the Morris Pest Control in Central Texas from 1975 till he retired in 2013. He was a Mason and he entered many BBQ and Chili Cook Offs all around Texas.
Gene was raised by George and Fay Renfro of California.
He was proceeded in death one brother Gene Renfro.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda June Morris, son; Bud Morris, sisters;Judy Johnson, Jane Story, brothers; Alan Renfro, Sam Mendenhall and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will held on Friday July 12,2024 starting at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Gene will have a private burial in the Mohomet Cemetery in Briggs.
