She married Andrew Waters in 2007 and they lived together in Copperas Cove, Texas. They were married for 14 wonderful loving years. Together they raised 2 children Anna and Isaac and welcomed their granddaughter, Mia. Lori was the glue to her family
Lori spent her days caring for her son all while making a house a home and was passionate about making positive impacts in people's lives. She started a Facebook group called Copperas Cove Hot Topics where the community could stay informed on local news and events as well as finding helpful information. Lori was very outspoken and passionate when it came to her community. She loved Copperas Cove and the people in it.
When Lori wasn't interacting with the community, she loved to be with friends and family making memories that would last a life time. She was a people person and just wanted to be surrounded by loved ones at all times. Lori could light up a room as soon as she walked in and spread joy wherever she went.
Lori is preceded in death by her parent's, Willard French of Kountze, Texas. Her mother Sharon Middlebrook Mathenia and step Father Wayne Mathenia both of Copperas Cove, Texas.
Lori leaves to cherish her memory her husband Drew; her daughter, Anna Noordam; her son, Isaac Waters; granddaughter Mia; her siblings Lisa Ball and Jason Mathenia and many nieces and nephews whom she adored along with many friends whom she held dear.
A celebration of life for Lori will be held at 2pm on Sunday, February 27th, at Victory on the Rock Church in Copperas Cove. Services are under the care of Crawford Bowers Funeral Home.
