

She was born as Yun Chae-ok in Sinn 3-ri Daehwa-Myeon Pyeongchang-sun city province of Gangwon-Do, South Korea. She was the daughter of the late Yoon Yong-daal and Seo Nan-soo.
Kimberly attended high school and also graduated from beauty school in Daejeon in 1964.
She was owner and operator of local businesses from 1989 to 1992, which employed up to 30 personnel. She worked as an assembler in Austin computer boards, she became a line lead and also trained new personnel. Her career included working for a large computer manufacturer, where she worked as linelead, which included the training of new hires.
She contributed her talent and wisdom to the community. She also helped the homeless by providing them with clothes and food. She also contributed funding, UNCHR Refugees, Shriners, and Heifer International.
Kimberly, or "Kim" as she was known to many in our community, is survived and will always be remembered by the loving community, her husband of 54 years, Mr. Joe De Alejandro, her daughter Judy, son-in-law Michael, her other daughter Carina, along her grandchildren Silas, Ethan and adopted grandson Vaughn.
As the saying goes, "Behind a good man is a great woman", Kimberly was a wonderful wife. She received a letter of appreciation from the Department of the United states Army for supporting her husband through his 20 year service to their Country.
Kim loved her plants. She started by growing 2 Plumeria, then 12 more bloomed. She had a green Thumb and would joke that she had a green hand. Kim was able to live in Germany, Alabama and of course, Ft. Cavazos. She loved all her friends she had made overseas and missed them. Kimberly loved her Bingo, she was a lifetime member of the VFW women's auxiliary.
Her legacy will live on in our hearts and minds of everyone with which she interacted, as well as those who have heard of her but never had the opportunity to meet.
