Joyce Stacy

Joyce was born April 19, 1930 in Spur, Texas to Willie Williams and Mary Mahan.

She and her late husband W.O. Stacy were previously the owners of Cove Blind and Drapery in Copperas Cove. She enjoyed music, gardening, quilting, traveling, antiquing, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

She was a member of the Copperas Cove Church of Christ.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, W.O. Stacy; a son, Bryan Stacy and a daughter, Penny Maxwell.

She is survived by a daughter, Kelly Berry of Belton; five grandchildren, Michael Maxwell of Frisco, Kimberly Tullo of Lubbock, Kurt Maxwell of Welch, Ryan O’Dell of Austin and Morgan Camese of Copperas Cove; a sister, Maxine Harvey of Oklahoma City, OK and eight great grandchildren.

A memorial service celebrating Joyce’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove with Pastor Zachary Huckabee officiating.
