Francis Edward Michalski

Francis was raised in Albany, New York and graduated from Albany High in 1952. He later went on to serve in the United States Army where he retired as a Sergeant Major. During his time in the Army he met and married Yulan Michalski. Francis loved gardening and his dog Bitzi.

Francis is survived by his wife, Yulan Michalski; his niece Lynn Cantwell, his niece Terri Linendoll, his niece Christine Ronca, his nephew Thomas Pfeiffer and his cousin Donna Cramer and numerous grandnieces and nephews.

Francis was preceded in death by his mother Mary Tanski Michalski and his father Edward Michalski; his sister Regina Pfeiffer; his uncle Theodore Michalski, his uncle Joe Tanski, and his aunt Helen Tanski

A Graveside Service with Military Honors for Francis will be held Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 State Highway 195, Killeen, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Francis' memory may be made to Wreaths Across America ; or a Veteran’s charity of your choice.
