Deborah Lynne Norton

Deborah Lynne Vail Norton (Mama Skullz), 61 of Copperas Cove, Tx. passed peacefully on October 27th, 2023, at her daughter's home in Lampasas. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Father, infant son Christopher, and brother-in-law Dan Ortiz.

Debby was born to Francis Vail, Jr. on March 30, 1962, in Chelsea, Massachusetts. Later, Francis married Naomi Radle and raised her as her own.

She will be missed by her loving husband Roger, sons Robert Willse, Frankie (Jessica) Norton, and daughters Angel Norton, Natalie (Sergio) Oliva.

Grandchildren Alexis, Abby, Alyce, Jayden, Harlow, Anaya, Cameron, Darrian, Coltin, Clayton, and Chelsea.

Siblings Marion Pollak (Richard), Thomas Vail (Sherri), David Vail (Michelle), Candace Ortiz, James Blose Sr (Maria), Ronald Johansen Jr (Bethany) and

two adopted by heart children, Megan Campassi (Armani) and Tony White (Katie, Cameron and Esme).

She was a member of VFW Post 3393 Ladies Auxiliary, the APA Pool League, and volunteered many years to the Central Texas Toy Run. Debby also stayed busy with her business "Crazy Embroidery by Family" and helping those in need.

The family would like to thank Advent Health Killeen staff, especially the ICU team and Gentiva Hospice, for the amazing care received. Special thanks to Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home for their compassion and professionalism during this time, and to her "Chosen Few" family for loving Mama Skullz. We are so grateful of all the prayers and love sent to us.

There will be a memorial service held at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery on November 16th starting at 3pm.
