Originally from northern Minnesota, Carol made Texas her forever home when her beloved husband got stationed at Ft. Hood in 1986. Carol loved playing card and word games on her computer through pogo.com, and would never miss her Wednesday badge days. She enjoyed spending time with her dog, and watching birds in her backyard. If you needed to find her on a weekday, there was a good chance she could be found in the Walmart leggings aisle. She loved McDonald’s french fries with ONLY McDonald’s spicy buffalo sauce (no other buffalo sauce compared)! Above all else, Carol loved spending time with her family. If Carol only had five minutes to spare in her day, she would manage to give her family seven. Carol loved her family fiercely and would move Heaven and earth to make sure her family was taken care of first.
Carol is survived by her children Michael Hedman, Martin Hedman, and Cheryl Nunes, her sisters Sylvia Christopherson and Sharon Larson, brother Wesley Christopherson, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Matthew Joslin, parents Thorsten and Evangeline Christopherson, sons Mark Hedman and William Joslin, sister Joyce Hollars, and two grandchildren.
The family would like to give a special thank you to her hospice team (Belinda, Michael, and Stephanie) for their extraordinary care and love they gave to Carol.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.crawfordbowerscopperascove.com for the Joslin family.
