Preston Lee Point

At the young age of 20, Preston Lee Point left this Earth on September 21, 2019 to join Our Lord in Heaven. Preston spent most of his life living in Coppell, TX. He was born on Easter Sunday, April 4, 1999 in Plano, TX. His family moved to Coppell from Lewisville in 2002. Preston was active in Special Olympics where he participated in bocce ball tournaments, swim meets, and bowling with his friends. He attended Cottonwood Creek Elementary, Coppell Middle School North, and Coppell High School where he was currently enrolled. During his time at CHS, Preston earned a Letter for participation in Special Olympics. He was particularly close to his own “dream team” of teachers, coaches, and classmates at CHS who loved him dearly. Our family is forever grateful for having them as an integral part of his life’s journey. When he wasn’t involved in his own activities, Preston spent many weekends attending his brothers’ football and lacrosse games, all of which he loved. He was always prepared for gameday with his iPad, headphones, drinks, and favorite snacks. He was a great big brother to his siblings Brandon (18) and Carson (15). They loved him dearly. When he wasn’t involved in family activities Preston loved spending time with his iPad watching movies, YouTube videos, and listening to music. Some of his favorite movies included Toy Story, Zookeeper, Robots, Up, Shrek, and holiday videos such as Frosty the Snowman. Even though Preston was non-verbal, what he didn’t say with words he spoke with his heart. The joy and love he brought to so many people will be forever cherished. Preston is survived by his parents Kathy and Mike Point, his siblings Brandon, Carson, and his Labrador retriever Duke. Memorial donations may be made in Preston’s name to the following:
