It is with great sadness and heartbreak that we announce the sudden passing of Michael Dyer. Michael left this world on March 1, 2024 at the age of 56 while embracing one of his true passions, CrossFit.
Michael leaves behind three children: Jessica, Joshua, and Madison, as well as his grandson Ashton. He is survived by his mother Myrtle Dyer, sister Cindy Everson and her husband Bob, and nephew Trey. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Dyer.
Family was especially important to Michael. He was incredibly proud of his children and was always impressed with their accomplishments and the unique bond they share. Some of his most cherished time in recent years was spent with his adoring grandson, Ashton.
Michael was born in 1968 in Huntington Beach, CA. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in MIS and Economics and was a proud member of the ΣΦΕ fraternity. Upon graduating, Michael pursued a lifelong career in Information Technology and Cybersecurity.
Michael had a large personality and embraced his life and friendships. He had a passion for CrossFit and even became a coach in recent years. Michael made friends who were more like family, keeping them close throughout his life. He loved to laugh and joke around. If he gave you a hard time, it’s because he knew you were a true friend.
Michael attended Coppell Bible and found great community with the members.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 1 pm at Coppell Bible located at 751 W. Sandy Lake Rd. Coppell, TX 75019
