After attending Diamond Hill High School, Mo joined the United States Air Force and was stationed in Hawaii. He served four years, came back to Texas and graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1970 with a degree in Accounting. It was there Mo met Donna, the love of his life. They married on January 8, 1970. Mo and Donna had one son, Chris. Mo worked for many years at Bates Container and Versatile Machining before relocating his family from Irving to Tyler. They found Tyler a wonderful place to raise Chris. Mo worked at Bennett Equipment while they lived there. Mo and Donna moved back to Irving after Chris graduated Texas A & M University in College Station.
Mo was known for his kidding and sense of humor. He loved to work in the yard and was a master at “Hand and Foot” as well as any card games he played.
Mo was a member of Vista Ridge United Methodist Church in Lewisville.
After a wonderful trip to Ireland, he became ill and passed away on October 13, 2016. Mo’s parents and brother, Thomas, preceded him in death.
Mo is survived by: his wife, Donna; son Chris and daughter-in-law Alicia; grandchildren Makayla, Kayden, Cameron and Adam; sisters-in-law Nelda Campeau and Sherry Norfleet; brother-in-law Avon Norfleet; numerous extended family including aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends.
