Mathew Babu

Mathew Babu, was born November 20, 1957, at the Kulathaniyil House in Mylapra, Kerala, India to the late V.K. Mathai and late Mariamma Mathai along with his three siblings Chinnamma Abraham, late Thankamma Chacko, and Joy Mathai. He married Elsy Babu on June 17, 1985 and immigrated to the United States in 1986. He was saved and baptized at a young age and was an active member in fellowship with the saints at Bethesda Bible Chapel. He passed away on November 16, 2023, surrounded by his family and friends in Irving, TX. Babu lived a full and meaningful life, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He is survived by his wife, Elsy Babu, sons Benil and Brenly Babu, daughter-in-law Shaina Babu along with grandchildren Kayla, Katelyn, and Kaleb Babu who will continue to carry on his spirit and values. He is United in Glory with his loving parents, his sister, and nephew Soby Joy. He was devoted to his family and was a faithful servant of the Lord. He exemplified strength and faithfulness throughout his journey. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
