Mark Bradley Cowan, best known as Mardo, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 10, 2015. Mark was born on September 4, 1956 to Norma and Billy Cowan. Above all, Mark valued faith, family, and friends. He was a man of integrity, courage, and perseverance and was an inspiration to all who met him. Despite being in constant pain for over 38 years due to a tragic accident, he woke up every morning and chose to have a good day. He was a blessing to all. Mark was passionate about his job and enjoyed working at Midwest Trading for almost 40 years. Mark is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Rochelle Cowan and his treasured daughters Devin and Haley. Mark also leaves his sister, brother, and sister-in-law Shelly Kay, Bryan, and Beverly Cowan, as well as numerous cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation and reflection on Wednesday evening from 6-8 in the Grand Foyer of Rolling Oaks Funeral Chapel, 400 Freeport Parkway. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held 2:00 Thursday at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Coppell with Father Edwin Leonard as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dallas Wheelchair Tennis Association at 214 Camden Drive Highland Village, Texas 75077.
