Lily G Wirth

Lily grew up above her family’s grocery store, Giglio’s Market, on North Perry Street in Pontiac. After graduating from Pontiac High School, she worked at Simms Department Store and General Motors prior to marrying her husband, Frederick, a Pontiac Police Officer.

Lily was loving mother to daughter Nancy (Bob Rindels) Wirth, her son, Karl (Mary Anne) Wirth, and grandmother to Erika (Bill) Brewer and Kevin (Alejandra Medina Calvillo) Wirth. She is also survived by numerous cherished family members.

Lily was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frederick Wirth, her parents, Anthony and Amelia Giglio, siblings, Victor (Peggy) Giglio, Josephine (James) Graham, Armand (Gloria) Giglio, Albert (Shirley) Giglio, Mario (Phyllis) Giglio and Robert Giglio.

Lily traveled with her husband and family throughout Michigan, the U.S., and Europe as well as to her second home in the Dallas area. She enjoyed time spent with family and friends in both Michigan and Texas. She enjoyed fine dining, was an avid watcher of Coronation Street, loved playing cards, and participating on trivia nights.

Because of Covid restrictions, there will be no service at this time but hopefully a celebration of life will take place in the future.
