Leigh Anne Arnold

Arnold, Leigh Anne, born August 20, 1966 and passed away on August 15, 2023. Leigh Arnold was born at Fort Rucker, Alabama, the third child of Nancy and Ken Arnold. She later relocated back to Indianapolis, Indiana, Pensacola, Florida and Coppell, Texas. For most of her adult life she remained in Texas but loved Pensacola, Florida, making Texas her final home. She is survived by her beloved and cherished son Matthew Austin Arnold. She is survived by mother, Nancy Vance Arnold and Father, Ken Arnold III, brothers Kenneth IV, Gregory, Theodore Eric (preceded in death) sisters Heather and Kennah. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Leigh attended high school in Oklahoma before moving to Pensacola where she made friendships she maintained for life. She moved to Texas in 1994 close to her parents, brothers and extended family. That is where she had her beloved son, Matt, the center of her life. She was so proud of him. She enjoyed Jeep Trail Riding with her son and volunteering in the Navy Sea Cadet Program for her son and taking Matt on vacation. She was a true lover of dogs. Growing up as the sister to three brothers she quickly learned to speak her mind and stand her ground. Her fondest memories were spending time with her late Grandmother and Grandfather who affectionately named her Pea Ridge. Her fondest memories were spending time with her maternal grandparents, cooking with her grandmother and playing with the barn cats, and following her grandfather around the farm.

We will all miss her smile and infectious laugh. She loved shopping, gardening and plants, music, and was planning to start refinishing old furniture as a hobby. She was sensitive, kind and caring. She gave her mother the gift of Coco our Cocker Spaniel joined by Matt’s Labrador Retriever Shelby and German Shepherd Athena. They too are in mourning and loved her so much.
