Joseph Francis Augustine

Joseph Francis Augustine age 86 of Coppell, TX passed away May 16 2018 after a valiant battle with melanoma, at his home surrounded by family. He was born on August 25, 1931 in Newark, NJ to the late Charles and Mary Augustine. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp and is a veteran of the Korean war. He worked at Caltex Petroleum Corporation for 31 years before his retirement in 1986. He began his retirement career at Coppell I.S.D. where he worked for 17 years. He was one of the first members of St. Ann Catholic Church in Coppell.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 17 years, Cecile M. Kelly and his 2nd wife of 38 years, Barbara A. Fogarty and his brother Charles Augustine.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Dennis Augustine, Colleen Augustine and Margaret Myers with husband John; grandchildren, Brian, Danielle, Amanda, Madison and Jack; great grandchildren, Matthew and Jack; sister-in-law, Maureen O’Leary and husband Bill; numerous extended family and friends, including longtime friend Paul Adamec.

A viewing will be held from 4:00-8:00pm on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home, 400 Freeport Pkwy, Coppell, TX 75019.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00am, Wednesday, May 30 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 180 Samuel Blvd. Coppell, TX 75019.
