Jack had a special personality…fun, loving and unexpected. All of his adventures and journeys prepared him for the next big event. He began his career with the Associated Press in St. Louis, MO. His first assignment was covering the 1966 MLB All Star Game in St. Louis further cementing his love of baseball and the St. Louis Cardinals in particular. His career took a turn to public relations and advertising and he worked for Bloom Advertising; N.W. Ayer; Foot ,Cone and Belding and Satchi and Satchi. He left the advertising world to take over the family business and served as President of the Jack Rogers Co. for over 20 years. Anyone who was privileged enough to be in Jack’s presence never knew what to expect. His quick wit, long yarns, and the unexpected u-turns in his stories left all who were with him laughing and in awe. There was always a good time to be had when Jack was in the room!
