Charles Bryant Bennett

"Charles Bryant Bennett, was born in Bryan, TX on December 8, 1947 to his proud parents John Harry & Nina Jean Eakin Bennett, and he passed away peacefully on Sunday September 3, 2023 at the age of 75.

Charles enjoyed life and sharing his commentary on NASCAR, Texas Longhorn Football, and the Dallas Cowboys, even when they weren't winning, he was a loyal fan. He always was free with his opinion and didn't hesitate to share and welcome an insightful if not energy filled discussion on a myriad of topics. He loved his NASCAR, and frequented many races, and took part in a lap or two around the speedway,

He was preceded in death by his father, and just in September of last year his loving wife of 35 years Bobbie Jo. He was a loving son, brother and father to three special and wonderful children, Todd, Amy, and Jared. And while he may not have shared his words of the love and happiness he felt for them each, his heart was full for them daily. Charles is survived by his mother Jean Bennett of Sunnyvale, TX and brother Harry of Carrollton, TX, along with his son Todd Bennett and wife Sherry of Wills Point, TX, Jared Bennett and wife Ashley of Newcastle, OK, and Amy Bromley of Rockwall. He had nine (9) grandchildren, Kara Lunsford and her husband Mat, Trent Bennett, Hunter, Austin, & Tyler Bromley, and Alex & Austin, Hayden & Aubri, and little Maddux who can't wait to arrive, and not to be forgotten one great-granddaughter Finley."
