I think I am not alone when I say that the most enduring and endearing thing about Chance was his laugh, which was always mischievous and infectious. Since we were kids, whenever Chance laughed, you just couldn't help but laugh with him. 
The surprise for me was getting to know the man he'd grew to be. Still mischievous and playful, he was also incredibly thoughtful and introspective. I remember driving to work one day (and my commute is long) and before I knew it, we had talked for hours about things I really hadn't discussed with anyone -- about God and love and family and just the things we all feel are important but rarely, if ever, say aloud. 
At the end of that conversation, I told him how grateful I was to just be able to talk with him, like that. How precious it was to be able to share those thoughts and have somebody really hear me and that that somebody was him, my cousin,  made that moment so special.  I hope he felt that way, too. 

Chance,
Cuz...thank you for being such a shining star. Your smile would always light up a room. I will always remember spending time growing up - playing and talking. You were always positive and fun to be around. Our lives were so much better having you in it. Thank you for gracing my life as your cousin and friend.  You will be missed every day. Much love my heavenly cuz...tell the rest of the fam that we love and miss them.

Teddy and I have known Chance since he was a child so this tragedy is very difficult to accept. However, we know that he is resting with his Heavenly Father. Chance was such a bright light and always put a smile on your face. He had a deep assignment for which he fulfilled and we are sure God is well pleased. He loved his family and made sure they felt it. We love you Chance and pray you rest well. Your work on earth was completed in excellence.  Our love and prayers to the family from Teddy & Denise.

I met Chance 6 years ago. Always full of kind words and wisdom. He never had a negative outlook on anything. His heart and presence spoke volumes about who he was and how he perceived life. My heart goes out to his family and children.  Sending prayers your way. 

When I met Chance, he found me at my lowest point in life 27 years old, working at Payless and transitioning to photography filmmaking. I was already on a spiritual journey  and the universe just happen to put us in the same place at the right time. Everything he taught me, I instantly implemented to my life. Our friendship was very tight and he believed in me before I even believe in myself. We could go months without speaking and every time we linked up. It was like we never skipped a beat. He was very genuine friend, he never had different motives. He just wanted to see people be the greatest version of themselves. 

My Deepest Condolences to all of the Harris Family. I pray that the lord Comfort your hearts during this trying time.  
        Furthermore, may the Lord  provide you all with divine strength.  While Continuously comforting the Voids in your hearts. From such a great loss. 
        Truly, you all are in my thoughts, heart, and prayers. I hope & pray that the Spirit of God Rest upon you all!

Sorry to hear about this man, We went to highschool together. I remember that talent show we did at Andress we sang let's Chill and tell me when will I see you smile again. We told each other don't smile but when the curtain went up and the ladies saw chance they all started screaming. Lol We did put thing that night. Rest easy man. Gone too soon. Your homie AJ
