Angie Hanson

Angie White Rigney Hanson, 67, of Coppell, TX, passed away on December 19, 2022. She is preceded in death by her father, Billy White, her mother, Nelldean White, her sister Jonelle Watson, and her step-daughter, Cindi Voth. She is survived by her husband, Joe Hanson; three sons, Chad Rigney (Lynsi), Chris Rigney, and Craig Rigney (Stephanie); three grandchildren, Aden, Addyson, and Evelyn; one grandson on the way, Owen; a sister, Gayla Greer (Danny), and three step-daughters, Josie Benssassi, Julie Perez, and Victoria McLeaster.

Angie brought light to everyone she met. She was a member in the Gideon auxiliary and a volunteer on the pastoral staff at Baylor rehab hospital. She stood with a cross on street corners, shared the good news about Jesus with everyone she met, and prayed (“called God”) for others on a daily basis. Her highest aim was to share the Gospel.

Angie adored her boys and her grandchildren, and she spoke nonstop of her love for them. Although having major health issues for several years, she pursued every single day with such great strength. Her tender, beautiful heart will be missed by her friends and family.
