Ms. Elizabeth Carmen Ortiz, formerly of Copiague, Long Island, New York, died suddenly on July 2, 2013 at the age of 42.

After obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Elizabeth made a successful career in Washington as a contract manager.

Surviving are her parents, Jose and Maria of Copiague; and her brothers, Wilson and Jesse, both of North Carolina; many nieces, nephews and numerous family and friends.

Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Saturday and Sunday, from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 p.m. On Monday, all will gather at 10:30 a.m., where prayers will commence at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Breslau Cemetery in Lindenhurst.
