Elena Lombardi

From her youngest years growing up in Westbury New York, she loved to read and she loved her big family of brothers and sisters, being the 8th of 12.

She was a loving mother, a creative writer, a strong spirit, a wonderful cook and a kind soul. She was married to Ralph Lombardi Sr. for more than 50 years; together they lived in Amityville, raised three children and built a successful construction business.

Her family included her daughter, Maria Carson and her husband, Joseph Carson of West Babylon; Joan Lombardi and her husband, Neville Beharie of Washington DC; and the late Ralph Lombardi, Jr and his wife, the late Valerie Lombardi of Amityville; six grandchildren and their spouses: Joseph and Lisa Carson, James and Kerry Carson, Nisha Beharie and Chris Litman, Michael and Marisa Beharie, Matthew and Jennifer Lombardi, and Joshua Lombardi; and six great-grand children: Jillian Carson, Amy Carson, Elle Carson, Avery Lombardi, Carter Lombardi and Julian Litman.

Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Monday, February 10th, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 9:45 a.m. at St. Brigid's Church in Westbury. Interment will follow at Cemetery of the Holy Rood, located just around the corner from the church.
