Verna Bertha Moore

Verna B. Moore was born in Janesville, MN on December 4, 1922. Passed away on January 10, 2015 at age 92, Andover, MN.

Verna fell in-love with David W. Moore, was married in January of 1947. She gave life to five amazing daughters; Linda (Danny) Frazer, Darlene (Chad)Dixon, Eleanor (Gerry) Dixon, Susan (Myron) McCumber, and Shelly (Keith) Luebesmier. Blessed by eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was an inspirational, witty, fun-loving, tush-kicking, Grandma by title, but so much more that is truly undefinable, strong-willed, hard-working woman. She had a passion for music, wrestling (WWE/WWF) and mixed martial arts (UFC/Boxing). She will forever be held in our hearts.

Preceded in death by husband David W. Moore, siblings; Erve Kruse, Lester Kruse, Esther Ennenga, Irene Stoffel; granddaughter Jennifer Kukowski-McCumber, & son-in-law Danny Fraser.

Funeral Service Monday, January 12, 2015 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
