Although Scott faced many battles in his life, none were as challenging as his fight against cancer. He faced it with courage and strength until the very end and never gave up. Despite his struggles, he always maintained a positive attitude and continued to spread love and laughter to those around him.
Scott passed away at the age of 49 on August 15, 2024 at his home that he loved in Eagan, MN. He was surrounded by his loving family, and accompanied by many prayers upon his passing into eternal life.
Born on October 18, 1974, Scott spent his childhood years primarily in Lacey, Washington. He enlisted in the United States Army when he was 18 years old, where he became a parachute rigger and was stationed in Italy for many years. He served until he was honorably discharged in June 1998. After he was out of the service, he started a music label company and also worked in the real estate industry. It was around this time that his daughter, Isabella, was born in 2002. She forever changed him, and he remained a consistent and devoted father. We believe Scott's legacy is one of love, care, and unwavering attention to his daughter. He spent the rest of his years living in Eagan, MN with his beloved wife, Amanda.
Scott was a self-taught dedicated futures stock trader who loved to share his knowledge and wisdom with others. He built his Futures stock trading company called RexDog. He developed a way of trading that was remarkable, demonstrating his passion and skills in the industry. Colleagues admired his work ethic, creativity, and his commitment to teaching.
Beyond his professional life, Scott was a devoted father, husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved to travel, explore the world of advancing technology, learn about everything he could and share what he has learned, read books, and delve into history. His knowledge and life experiences enriched the lives of those around him.
Scott leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of compassion. His generosity touched countless lives, and his wisdom guided those fortunate enough to know him. We will forever miss his warm smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering courage in the face of adversity.
Scott may no longer be with us, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Predeceased by his grandpa Ozzy, grandma Marilyn, uncle Bob, and uncle Kenny.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Amanda; daughter, Isabella; mother, Donna Schultz; sister, Tanya Wiggins; and last but not least, his dog, Rex, also affectionately known as: Nugget, One tooth Rex, Sparkles, Fluffy, and 4-Paws Rex. He also leaves behind many uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces.

A memorial service to honor Scott's life will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Bridgewood Community Church, 11670 Lexington Ave NE, Blaine, MN. Scott will be laid to rest at Oakland Cemetery, 927 Jackson St, St Paul, MN, 55117. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. There will be a lunch provided after the burial, where stories will be shared and memories cherished.
