He is preceded by his father, LeRoy Skog; and nephew, Aaron Jurek.

Matthew is survived by his loving mother, Karyn Skog (passed on April 22, 2025); siblings, Jean (John) Jurek, Lynn (Michael) Morgan; nieces, Sara (Jamie) Morgan, and Rianna Jurek; nephew, Jackson Morgan; and many other family members and friends.

Join us to celebrate the lives of Karyn and Matthew from 4 to 8 pm on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids. Private interment will take place at Epiphany Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
