Mary Elizabeth Heckman

She was born to Guy and Lois Lutz on August 1, 1943 in Washington, DC. Her family also lived in Nebraska then moved to Minnesota where she married Gary Heckman and they had 5 children: Mike, Scott, Lisa, Tina and Kyle.

Mary loved spending time with her friends and family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the matriarch of her family hosting holiday events. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. Over the years, Mary had many cats that she loved dearly. She loved telling stories about living on the farm in Nebraska, of when she met the love of her life in college in Minnesota and of how proud she was of all of her kids and grandkids.

A funeral service is scheduled on May 31, 2023, with visitation at 10 am, service at 11 am and a small reception after at Peace Lutheran church 20 Northdale Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
