Lois M. Gustafson

Spread her wings on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at the age of 81. Lois was born in Estelline, SD on June 17, 1935. She moved to Minneapolis after graduation and married Richard Gustafson. Together they raised their family in Coon Rapids, MN. Lois retired from working at Cardiac Pacemaker. Everywhere she went she made lasting friendships. She excelled at being a caring and loving person whose best friend was Jesus. She cherished her church family at Presbyterian Church of the Master, where she was a charter member and active for years sharing her love for Jesus. The old hymns gave her great peace and joy. She always had a full cookie jar and a cup of coffee to share.

She leaves behind memories as a loving mother to Beth (Bob) McDuffie , Pam (Greg) Brolsma, Jeanette (Kraig) Garmaker, Tom (Kim) Gustafson, son-in-law Gary Zigan; devoted grandma to Justin, Jillian (Nathan), Erin, Jonathan (Kirstin) , Nathan, Sarah (Andrew), Lauren, Emily, Stephanie, Kalvin, Emma, Will; proud great-grandmother to Henry, precious sister to Marlys Dahl and devoted friend to many.

Lois is preceded in death by her daughter, Barb, husband, Richard and many other family and friends.

Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens.
