He was born October 10th, 1939 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Edward Leo and Joyce Mary (Ratfield) Wagner.
He was married to Karen Kathleen Burton on June 1st, 1964, until her passing on October 7, 2013.
He was predeceased by Loving Wife, Karen Kathleen Wagner; Father, Edward Leo Wagner; Mother, Joyce Mary Wagner; and Brother, Phillip Earl Wagner.
He is survived by his children Son, Richard Wagner Jr, Daughter, Shannon Wagner, Daughter, Michelle (Wagner) Oien; Sister, Jerilyn (Wagner) Cornelius; Stepchildren, Rory Bauer and James Bauer; Seventeen Grandchildren, and Nine Great Grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held for both Richard Edward and Karen Kathleen (Burton) Wagner on January 16th, 2021. Visitation from 10 am to 11 am, with service at 11 am, at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55448.
Interment will follow at Morningside Memorial Gardens, 11800 University Ave NE North, Coon Rapids, MN 55448, at 12:15 pm.
