Jeanette was a wonderful mom, grandma, and great grandma. She greatly enjoyed her time with family, hosting many get togethers in her home over the years, or even just short intimate visits with a few. For as long as she was able, you would find her at her kids or grandkids sporting events, school functions, or church performances. Always remembering birthdays, anniversaries, life milestones, and those little life events each family member would experience.
She was a good friend and confidant to many as well. Having the gift to listen or just be there in a time of need. Many are blessed to have called her a friend.
She was a sweet, kind and compassionate person. She displayed those traits throughout her career, working for Anoka Hennepin School District 11 as a school cook and for the Adventures Plus Program for many years, and then as a retail sales clerk into her retirement.
She had a passion for baking and would share that with everyone she could. Having a never ending supply in her home, sharing plates of goodies with neighbors, Tuesday bible study, or giving sweet treats in appreciation or to friends in need. She also enjoyed sending out personal greeting cards with handwritten notes, whether it was to someone going through a difficult time, or just to brighten someone's day, you felt lucky to be on her card list.
