Eva Jean Stenson (Scofield) of Chanhassen, MN passed away on Monday March 31, 2025, at the age of 78 with her children by her side. She was born to Alvin and Rita Scofield on November 30, 1946, in Brookings, SD.
She married the love of her life, Terry, on October 11, 1969, they enjoyed going to car shows, Sunday drives and shopping at antique stores. Many happy memories were made at the family cabin. She has missed him for 20 years and we find peace knowing they are reunited now.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry; parents, Alvin and Rita Scofield; brother, Jerry Scofield; parents-in-law, Claire and Shirley Stenson; brothers-in-law, Gary Olson, Gene Anderson, Richard Pederson, and Tim Stenson; sisters-in-law, Joy Pederson and Julia Nelson; nephews, Darek and Travis Pederson; niece Diane Pederson.
Survived by her son, Mike (Fern) Stenson and daughter Kelly Stenson; grandchildren, Layla and Gianna Stenson, Braeden, Caleb and Dylan Staudt; brother, Dwayne Scofield; sisters, Colleen Olson and Alvina Anderson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kevin and Jackie Stenson, Randy and Rachel Stenson, Jackie and Jack VanZelst, Bev Stenson, Don Nelson and Judy Scofield. Many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
The family would like to thank the love and care of Azari and Lailana in her final weeks with us. Being able to share the joy of laughs and smiles in her final days brought peace to everyone around her.
Funeral Service 12:00 pm Monday, April 7, 2025, at Gearhart Funeral Home (11275 Foley Blvd. NW., Coon Rapids) Visitation 10:30 am until time of service.
Interment Epiphany Catholic Cemetery in Coon Rapids.
